Amurrio awarded contract for the ballast turnouts for the Murcia-Almería section of the Mediterranean Corridor

For an amount of almost 8.5 million euros

ADIF Alta Velocidad has awarded Amurrio Ferrocarril y Equipos a new contract for the supply and transport of interoperable railway turnouts on ballast for the construction of the Murcia-Almería high speed section.

The amount of this lot is 8,495,440 euros.

The operations contemplated include the manufacture, pre-assembly and workshop testing of these railway elements, their transport to the track and complete assembly prior to installation.

It also includes advice during the transfer, placement on the track, leveling and alignment phases, and the performance of the final adjustment operations.

The Murcia-Almeria high-speed line, which is part of the Mediterranean Corridor, has an approximate length of 186.1 kilometers, of which 103.2 kilometers run through the province of Almeria and the remaining 82.9 kilometers through the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.
